What should I check first when selecting a LATCHING model?

Start with system voltage and continuous current; then check break capacity, inrush rating, coil voltage, auxiliary contact needs and datasheet temperature limits. The configurator builds the order code according to the manufacturer code structure.

Do datasheet ratings and configurator codes refer to the same product?

Yes. The series table shows technical limits; the configurator turns coil, contact, terminal and option selections within the same model family into an order code. For quotation, send both the generated code and your application note.

Do you provide technical support and cross-reference checks for this series?

Yes. Share your existing part number, operating voltage, load type and environmental conditions, and we can review technically suitable alternatives within the same series or adjacent product families.

What information should I send for a quotation?

The generated part number, quantity, target delivery date, application type, system voltage/current and any datasheet revision are enough. The RFQ cart helps collect these details in one request.

GLVAC Latching HV Relay

15 kV – 70 kV magnetic latching high-voltage relay — Last-state preservation for energy savings

GLVAC Latching HV Relays feature a unique design maintaining contact state without continuous coil power. The permanent magnetic steel mechanism preserves the once-energized contact (closed or open) even after power loss — coil energy is only applied momentarily when state change is required.

This provides three main advantages: 99% energy savings (no continuous coil current), power-outage durability (last state preserved, fail-safe ensured), low electromagnetic interference (reduced EMI due to absence of continuous coil current).

8 models are offered in SPDT-Latching configuration: G2L (15 kV, 50A), G8L (15 kV, 30A), G15L (15 kV, 12A), G13L (16 kV, 10A DPDT-Latching), G62L (25 kV, 18A), G60L (35 kV, 12A), G61L (35 kV, 10A), G71L (70 kV, 10A). Available in both vacuum (G2L, G8L, G15L) and gas-filled (G60L, G61L, G62L, G71L) technologies.

Typical use: remote control relays, central telecom circuits, automatic switching systems, industrial control requiring long-term state preservation, and satellite/aerospace relay infrastructure.
