Series overview
GLVAC 7.2 kV Series — AC vacuum contactor family designed for frequent motor starting and energy management in medium voltage (MV) industrial and power systems. 16 models: JCZ5 and CKG4 technologies × Electrical Latching and Mechanical Latching × 4 current capacities (160, 250, 400, 630 A). For petrochemical MV motor drives, steel mills, cement mills, and power distribution lines.
The GLVAC 7.2 kV Series is a comprehensive AC vacuum contactor family for medium-voltage industrial applications. Two core technology platforms are offered: JCZ5 and CKG4 — both sharing the same current/voltage specs but differing in internal design and mounting format. Models are also split into Electrical Latching and Mechanical Latching versions.
Electrical Latching: Contactor stays closed as long as coil is energized. Mechanical Latching: Mechanical lock holds the contact closed — state preserved even without coil energy, providing energy savings and fail-safe.
The 4 current classes (160/250/400/630 A) match standard industry capacities.
