Series overview
GLVAC CKJ11 Series — AC vacuum contactor family designed for 1.5 kV and 3.6 kV main circuit voltages. 7 models: 1.5 kV (160/250/400/800 A + 3000 A high-current) and 3.6 kV (500/630 A). Preferred for frequent motor starting and control in petrochemical, electrified railway, metallurgy, coal mining, and power systems. CKJ11-500/3.6 and CKJ11-160/1.5 are standard supply items at IMB Electric Türkiye.
The GLVAC CKJ11 Series is a vacuum contactor family designed for frequently switched motor drives and power distribution switches in medium voltage (MV) AC systems. 7 models cover two voltage ranges: 1.5 kV (160/250/400/800 A standard + CKJ11-3000 high-current version) and 3.6 kV (500 and 630 A).
The CKJ11-3000 model is particularly notable — with 30,000 A rated making and 24,000 A rated breaking capacity, it is used in high-power motor starting, large transformer magnetic switching, and mega-watt scale reactive power compensation (RPC) applications.
The 3.6 kV version (CKJ11-500/3.6 and CKJ11-630/3.6) is preferred in electrified railway and metallurgy high-voltage motor drives. Standard 1.5 kV models are used in petrochemical, compensation panels, mining (systems above 1.14 kV), and industrial motor control.
