GLVAC R Series — closed-type vacuum three-phase AC contactor designed for low-voltage industrial AC motor control, pump, fan, compressor, and mining machinery drive applications, with 8 models from 160A to 2500A. 380V-1500V working voltage, 100 million mechanical cycle life, AC 12A 240V auxiliary contact capacity.
The GLVAC R Series is a closed-type high-power vacuum AC contactor used in frequently switched motor drives in three-phase low-voltage industrial AC systems. The main contacts offer load currents from 160A to 2500A and working voltages from 380V to 1500V. Auxiliary contacts can handle AC 12A, 240V load.
The most distinctive feature of the R Series is its 100 million mechanical cycle life — a level unparalleled in industry standards, providing long service in continuous operation. Vacuum-insulated contact technology protects against humidity, dust, and explosive atmospheres; arc interruption takes place inside the vacuum, eliminating the need for external magnetic blowouts.
Typical applications: industrial AC motor drives, pump and fan systems, compressor control, mining hoists and conveyors, motor switching in oil and gas facilities, metallurgy and electrified railway power systems, capacitor switching in compensation systems.
