The MX series is a hermetically sealed DC contactor family engineered to meet MIL-R-6106, purpose-built for military vehicles and heavy-duty applications. Silver-plated contacts provide high inrush surge capability; the ceramic-to-metal braze fully isolates the contact chamber from the environment.
GIGAVAC MX Series sealed DC Contactors are designed to meet MIL-R-6106 and are especially suited for military vehicles and heavy-duty applications. The hermetically sealed chamber shields the coil, contacts, and electronics from all outside environmental factors. The ceramic-to-metal weld provides a vibration-resistant, robust structure. Silver-plated contacts deliver low contact resistance and long life under high inrush conditions.
