ABOUT MONARCH M-190 / MT-190 MAGNETIC SENSORS
Series overview
The M-190 and MT-190 series are self-powered magnetic speed sensors for 1–99,999 RPM operation against 60-tooth, 20-pitch gears. The MT-190 amplifier extends operating gap to 0.25 in (6.35 mm).
The Monarch M-190W magnetic sensor is self-powered, requires no external power, and is commonly used with 60-tooth 20-pitch gears. MT-190W (tinned-lead) and MT-190P (1/8" phone plug) models work with the MT-190 magnetic trigger amplifier module to enhance performance and extend the operating gap to 0.25 in (6.35 mm) from the target. The 3.3–24 Vdc TTL pulse output is compatible with all Monarch panel tachometers, frequency converters, portable tachometers and stroboscopes. The magnetic sensing principle is ideal for applications where reflective tape cannot be applied, or in dirty/oily environments that still require RPM measurement.
