φ6–φ100 mm absolute encoders — single-turn & multi-turn with SSI serial output
The MTL (Microtech Laboratory) Absolute Encoder family, made in Japan, combines magnetic and optical sensing technologies in a single catalog. Single-turn models reach 10-bit to 21-bit resolution, while multi-turn models track 64 to 256 turns via battery-free mechanical gear or electronic counting. The entire range supports SSI serial communication and retains absolute position through power loss. They are the global choice for servo motor feedback, robotic joints, industrial presses, precision alignment systems and medical devices where position loss is unacceptable. The product range — from the φ6 mm MAS-3 to the φ100 mm MAH-85 — fits everything from miniature devices to heavy industrial equipment.
