Series overview
Original spare parts, cables, connectors, position magnets, and accessories for ASM sensors are listed on this page. When ordering a new sensor, accessories are selected in the configurator; however, for service maintenance, spare-part replacement, cable extension on existing sensors, or ordering additional magnets, you can order individual items here.
The ASM sensor portfolio contains 80+ models, and each series requires its own + shared accessories/parts. This page lists 146+ products compiled from the 2015 ASM Distributor Price List — organised in 9 category-based tables.
Universal Accessories (common to all ASM series):
• PRODIS digital process displays (PD-ADC, PD-INC) — display analog or incremental sensor output on a panel meter
• M12 standard cables (4-wire / 8-wire × axial/radial × 2/5/10/15/20 m) — including IP69K versions
• CAN-Bus cables (M12 5-pin) — for CANopen and SAE J1939 sensors
• T-connector + termination resistor — for CAN bus topology
Series-Specific Accessories:
• POSIWIRE: Potentiometer + encoder + signal conditioner spares, draw wire kits (stainless or PA), spring kits (model-based), mechanical mounting brackets, cable guides (SR1/SR2/SR2-VA), cable brush (SAB5), magnetic clamps, floats, LR19 adapters
• POSITAPE: WBR1 deflection pulley, MAG1/2, SCHWIMMER float
• POSICHRON: 13 different position magnets (unguided, guided, ring magnet floats), 7 mounting brackets, PCGS push-rod (75-2000 mm) and PCGK link
• POSIROT (PRAS): 11 position magnets (PRMAG1/2/5/20/21/22 + Tmax 125°C high-temp versions), PRAS26 special mating connector

Service and Spare Parts Policy:
ASM sensors have an average 5-10 year service life. Typical spare-part needs:
• Pot/encoder replacement in POSIWIRE (after years) — Signal conditioner replacement after calibration
• POSIWIRE draw wire (stainless/PA) and spring (model-based) — after wear
• In case of position-magnet loss or damage — for POSICHRON and POSIROT
• Cable damage or extension — universal M12 cables
• Connector replacement — migration from old D8/DIN to M12
