GLVAC TJ Series AC contactor vacuum interrupter tubes — high-performance core components of AC vacuum contactors that rapidly extinguish arcs and suppress current using high vacuum insulation inside the tube. 24 models across 5 voltage classes (1.14 kV to 12 kV), rated current from 125A to 2500A. The GLVAC TJ Series vacuum interrupter tubes are the core element of AC vacuum contactors. The high vacuum inside the tube (below 10⁻⁴ Pa pressure) extinguishes the arc within milliseconds after the medium-voltage circuit is interrupted — since this occurs in vacuum, no external magnetic blowout, gas fill, or oil insulation is required.
24 models span 5 voltage classes: 1.14 kV (8 models: 125-1250 A), 1.5 kV (1 model: 800 A), 3.6 kV (9 models: 400-2500 A), 7.2 kV (3 models: 400-800 A), 12 kV (3 models: 400-1250 A). Each model offers 100 rated switching cycles (Rated Short-Current Times: 100), 25 breaking cycles (Rated Breaking Times: 25), and 3 limited breaking cycles (Limited Breaking Times: 3).
