ABOUT SPST HV RELAY
Series overview
GLVAC SPST HV Relays consist of a simple switch mechanism with one stationary and one movable contact, available in Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) configurations. 24 models, wide voltage range from 1.5 kV to 70 kV, vacuum / reed / gas-filled technology options. For RF communications, high-voltage testing instruments, semiconductor equipment, satellite and submarine cable applications.
The GLVAC SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) HV Relay family is a comprehensive collection designed for short-duration high-voltage interruption and low-level signal switching. 24 models offer working voltage from 1.5 kV to 70 kV, continuous current from 2A to 65A, and a choice between vacuum, reed, and gas-filled (hydrogen/argon-filled) insulation technologies.
Vacuum-insulated models (GL series: GL41A/B, GL43A/B, GL45C, GL47A/B, GL81A/B, GL22) provide high-voltage interruption performance, fast response time (10 ms operate / 10 ms release), and very high insulation resistance. Preferred in RF and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Reed models (GR series: GR2DNA, GR3BJA335, GR5LTA/B, GR5MTA, GR6HBA318, GR6JNB218) are used in low-power and precision-timing applications, telecommunications, and test equipment — operate times of 0.8-3 ms and very low coil power.
Gas-filled models (G series: G61, G61L, G62L, G64, G64L, G71, G71L) are used in extreme high-voltage applications (35-70 kV) for make-only switching — satellite communications, submarine cable, high-voltage testing, and aerospace.
All models feature patented ceramic sealing technology, stainless steel housing, and long service life.
