GLVAC CV/CHV Series — modular-design AC vacuum contactor family for 1.14 kV (CV) and 3.3/3.6 kV (CHV) voltage ranges. 5 models: CV-80/1.14, CV-160/1.14, CHV-400/3.3, CHV-450/1.14, and CHV-450/3.6. CHV-450/1.14 offers 26000 A limited breaking capacity for high short-circuit fault current protection.
The GLVAC CV/CHV Series offers different voltage and current combinations under a single family using a modular design approach. The CV sub-group (CV-80, CV-160) is designed for 1.14 kV mining and low-voltage industrial applications; the CHV sub-group (CHV-400/3.3, CHV-450/1.14, CHV-450/3.6) for medium-voltage and high-fault-current protection applications.
The CHV-450/1.14 model is particularly notable with its 26000 A limited breaking capacity — approximately 5-10 times the industry average, providing safe interruption in scenarios like large transformer rear short-circuit faults. The 0.3 million mechanical life in CHV series indicates reduced operation frequency (emergency-cut-off focused).
Typical applications: mining (CV-80/1.14, CV-160/1.14), petrochemical medium-voltage drives (CHV-400/3.3), high-fault-current industrial circuits (CHV-450/1.14), railway and metallurgy (CHV-450/3.6).
