ABOUT MONARCH GE200 HP INDUCTIVE SENSOR
Series overview
The GE200 HP is an electromagnetic inductive sensor that wraps around a spark plug wire to detect ignition pulses. With the Monarch amplifier module it provides power and a TTL pulse output.
The GE200 HP is a 15 ft cable electromagnetic inductive spark sensor that wraps around an internal-combustion (especially gas engine) spark plug wire to non-contact detect ignition pulses. The Monarch MAG-AMP amplifier module powers the sensor and converts the signal into a 3.3–24 Vdc TTL pulse output compatible with all Monarch panel tachometers, frequency converters, portable tachometers and stroboscopes. Preferred for engine applications where reflective tape on a rotating shaft is impractical and direct ignition RPM measurement is required.
