MTL Roller Encoder (Measuring Wheel)

Length and speed measurement via measuring wheel — resolution down to 0.1 mm

The REH-30R measuring-wheel encoder reads length and linear speed directly from the surface of moving material via a calibrated wheel. A spring-loaded arm maintains constant pressure and minimizes slip. With 0.1 – 1 mm resolution, it tracks length and feed speed of continuous-production materials such as paper, fabric, cable, foil, extruded profile and sheet metal. Wires directly to a PLC or counter display.
