SPDT High Voltage Relays — Single-Pole Double-Throw Contact

The GIGAVAC SPDT family switches a single moving pole between two fixed terminals (1 Form C). With the coil de-energised the load sits on the NC contact; on energisation it transfers to the NO contact — the canonical building block for source selection, redundant-feed transfer switching, polarity routing and HV signal / load distribution. Isolation is provided between the moveable contact and the opposing stationary terminal.
Vacuum or gas-filled hermetic construction enables a wide switching range from 3.5 kVdc up to 70 kVdc with continuous current from 5 A to 150 A. Vacuum dielectric is preferred for high switching speed and long life; gas-filled construction is preferred for high inrush / surge current ruggedness.
Where an SPST-NO, SPST-NC or latching variant of the same frame exists, the model card shows a cross-link; the configurator generates the original Sensata part-no automatically based on contact / coil / mount selections.
